We can’t think of a more perfect duo than Phil Wickham and Crowder. So when the two chart-toppers decided to tackle a modern version of “Amazing Grace,” we were all ears. “It Really Is Amazing Grace” finds the pair transforming the timeless hymn into an anthemic pop offering, complete with a brand-new chorus and bridge. They leave the original verses untouched, and a choir helps brings the reimagined recording to life.

“I’ve sung this song my whole life, and it never gets old. Every time I hear it, I’m reminded of His forgiveness, His grace, and how deeply I need both. So excited to keep singing these lyrics in a new way. 250 years later, and this hymn still carries so much power. So grateful for these timeless lyrics and all the moments I’ve had with Jesus through them,” Wickham shares. “I hope you’re reminded today of the amazing grace God has given you.”
“We love this new twist on an old song,” Crowder adds. “It really is incredible to be rescued and redeemed! Thank you, Jesus!”
Beating Wickham to the punch, Crowder debuted “It Really Is Amazing Grace” at Passion 2026, while Wickham performed it for the first time at Orlando’s Rock The Universe in late January. Since then, both artists have been including it in their nightly setlists on their respective headlining tours.

Already a fan favorite, the spirited song kicks off Wickham’s 34-track “Song Of The Saints (Deluxe),” which boasts an array of collaborations, live captures and remixes in addition to the original track list from his most recent studio effort.
In support of the project, Wickham is currently riding the wave of “Song Of The Saints” in arenas across the country with opening acts, Tauren Wells and Jamie MacDonald, warming up the crowd. Concurrently, Crowder is on the road this spring, helming a tour alongside Patrick Mayberry and Seph Schlueter.
