After introducing “The Lord Will Provide” at Passion 2024, Passion’s Landon Wolfe enlisted soulful singer-songwriter Anna Golden to help him lead the anthem earlier this year at Passion 2025, facilitating an earnest moment of trust and surrender for the capacity crowd gathered at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.
Now spinning on K-LOVE, “The Lord Will Provide” leans into the truth found in Matthew 6, which paints a beautiful portrait of God’s attention to detail: “…Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?” (v. 28-30).
Written by Brett Younker, Chris Davenport and Jess Cates, the steady cadence of “The Lord Will Provide” reassures us that we can trust God to supply all of our needs. We don’t have to worry; He will come through.
“The Lord Will Provide” is included on Passion’s latest album, “Call on Heaven.” “I pray this song serves as a reminder that your Heavenly Father sees you, loves you, cares for you and knows exactly what you need,” Wolfe shares.
The collective will hit the road this fall with Crowder, Kari Jobe Carnes, Cody Carnes and Passion City Church pastor and author Louie Giglio for the “Grace & Glory Tour.” Meanwhile, the annual Passion Conference heads back to its birthplace of Texas in 2026. Scheduled for Jan. 1-3, 2026, next year’s gathering will see 18 to 25 year olds from all across the country, and around the world, unite at Arlington’s Globe Life Field for three days of prayer, worship and teaching.
