Jordan Feliz is spreading the good vibes with his summertime jam, “The King Is Alive.” The synth-soaked singalong is heavy on the grooves and primed for windows-rolled-down fun. Yet behind the contagious West Coast beats lies a significant message that reminds listeners Jesus is with us — alive and well. As Feliz contends, the reality of His resurrection isn’t simply reserved for Easter; it’s an active truth we get to embrace, experience and respond to every single day.

“I don’t think I have ever been this pumped about a song in my career,” Feliz confesses. “‘The King Is Alive’ is a reminder for my children’s generation, and every generation, that the resurrection of Jesus is not just a story from the past, but a present-day reality that inspires us to live with purpose and hope. It is the source of our strength and the reason for our joy. I hope this song gets you ignited to tell the world Jesus is as alive today as He was when He walked among us.”
Feliz kicks the Enemy to the curb through the resurrection power found in God’s Son on the fresh pop track. “The praises don’t stop, the devil’s been dropped. Got some good news coming straight from the top,” he sings in his signature falsetto. “He saved me from the fire, lifted me higher. Feeling so good, gotta sing it with the choir. ‘Cause He’s alive, alive. The King is alive, alive.”
“The King Is Alive” is the first radio single from Feliz’s highly anticipated fourth studio LP. Following a string of festival dates over the summer, the father of two will share the bill with Colton Dixon this fall on “The Love & Light Tour.” The co-headlining stint with Dixon arrives on the heels of a busy spring itinerary that saw the “Jesus Is Coming Back” singer tour with Danny Gokey, as well as spearhead shows of his own, where he’s already been teasing new music.
