Chandler Moore’s “God I’m Just Grateful” is swiftly becoming one of the most-sung tracks in churches around the world. The contagious chorus is also being used to soundtrack countless  TikTok reels as the tender song is encouraging listeners to consider their own moments of gratitude. Moore — who penned the original selection with Steven Furtick, Pat Barrett, Abubakar Baker Shariff-Farr and Joshua Coleman — initially recorded the crescendoing anthem with Elevation Worship for the award-winning collective’s latest full-length project, “SO BE IT.”

“I’ve written some of my favorite songs with Pastor Furtick and Elevation Worship, and ‘God I’m Just Grateful’ is at the top of that list,” Moore shares. “It captures exactly what we feel every time we come together.”

While the Elevation Worship collaboration was tracked live, Moore’s solo release was recorded in the studio. His explosive iteration subtly turns the congregational-friendly, wide-open refrain into a full-blown pop offering. Punctuated by synth and pulsating beats, “God I’m Just Grateful” introduces his next musical era since formally announcing his exit from Maverick City Music in October 2025.

Moore’s current chapter finds him especially thankful for his children, whom he often references on his social platforms when reflecting on the personal significance of “God I’m Just Grateful.” “God is kind to me. I’m really grateful,” he recently shared on Instagram alongside a video of his young kids running around in the grass. “God gave me the things I have. God gave me the family and friends I have. He’s done more than I deserve.”

Over the course of the past few months, the Charleston, South Carolina, native has played shows with Anthony Evans and Madison Ryann Ward and has also taken “God I’m Just Grateful” across the globe on a series of international dates, including a trio of concerts in Australia supporting Naomi Raine and Todd Galberth. Fans can expect more new music to come from the singer-songwriter as he refines his identity as a solo artist and continues to collaborate with longtime friends in Elevation Worship and Sons Of Sunday.
