Singer-songwriter Blessing Offor affirms we need each other on “Lift Me Up.” Admitting he knows how to “play the part,” the soulful, retro-tinged original finds the Nigerian-born artist confessing his longing for authenticity, encouragement and community.

Sometimes I feel like I just keep pretending, and I’m slowly going out of my mind,” he sings in the mid-tempo offering’s opening line as an infectious groove kicks in.

“‘Lift Me Up’ is a song written for the times we’re living in. It’s about the crazy world outside our windows or the world circling inside our minds,” Offor says. “Eventually, we’re all going to need to realize our vulnerability, lift each other up and realize that we can’t do any of this alone.”

The transparent single is part of Offor’s 16-track sophomore set, “Real,” which bowed in August. Contending that we all might just be really good actors, the two-time GRAMMY® nominee implores listeners to let down their guard, seek out genuine friendship and remain open to knowing others and being known. He also teaches us it’s more than OK to ask for help — a reminder we could all use in a culture of independence and isolation.

Capping off a banner year that included appearances on the “TODAY” show and the Grand Ole Opry, a tour with blues musician Robert Randolph and select headlining dates, Offor will trek overseas this December to support Keith & Kristyn Getty on the couple’s “Home for Christmas” tour. His trio of holiday concerts with the Gettys features a bucket-list stop at Royal Albert Hall in London, along with shows in Glasgow and Belfast.

Additionally, the “Brighter Days” singer has also been announced as part of the lineup for Rock The Universe 2026, Florida’s biggest annual Christian music festival hosted by Universal Orlando Resort.
