They’re not called Elevation Rhythm for nothing! Look no further than “Goodbye Yesterday.”
“If you’ve been freed by the blood of the Lamb, you’ve got the next four minutes to let the devil know,” says song leader Nate Diaz over the signature four-on-the-floor intro. The infectious track fires on all cylinders from start to finish, yet somehow leaves you wanting more.
A packed Red Rocks Amphitheatre gladly dances, claps and sings at the top of their lungs, exclaiming truth in unison:
Again and again and again and again
You’ve rescued me out of the mess I was in
You traded my sorrow for something to sing
Now I’m dancing on the grave that I once lived in
Diaz even sneaks in a few lyrics to “Washed,” another high-energy offering from Elevation Rhythm. While “Goodbye Yesterday” is about salvation, “Washed” is about the natural next step: baptism.
The youthful worship collective will appear with Phil Wickham and Terrian on the “K-LOVE Landmarks 2026” tour this summer. Tickets for the Aug. 13 show at the Beacon Theatre are available now.
