About LO Worship
LO Worship was founded in 2020 as the musical expression of Sadie Robertson Huff's "Live Original" brand — a faith-based ministry that encompasses books, a podcast, conferences, and events. The former Duck Dynasty star and Dancing with the Stars finalist envisioned integrating original music into her ministry offerings, particularly to complement her annual LO Conference, and so LO Worship was born — "LO" standing for "Live Original." Huff launched the band alongside a record label and publishing group of the same name, driven by a desire to help others deepen their relationship with Jesus through song.
Often described as a "family band," the group hails from West Monroe, Louisiana, and is made up of close-knit family members and lifelong friends. Currently comprised of Reeves Walker, Kaylea Mayo, and Laela Dasher, LO Worship writes and records original songs that speak specifically to a younger generation of believers. Steeped in authenticity, their music encourages vulnerability in each individual's relationship with God, tackling themes like identity, calling, and purpose. Huff herself remains deeply involved — she continues to appear on songwriting credits and can sometimes even be heard on vocals, united with the band in a shared mission to lead people into an encounter with Jesus.
The collective released their debut song, "Compass," in 2020, and two years later dropped Steady Light, a five-track EP that includes the single "Open." The project was later expanded into both a live album and a deluxe edition. Taking cues from the model of Passion Conference, LO Worship continues to release projects in tandem with their marquee events, the LO Conference and LO Sister Conference. Their growing reach now includes hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners on Spotify, cementing their place as a rising voice in contemporary Christian worship music.
