Caleb & John’s new single, “Finished,” declares the truth of Philippians 1:6: “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”

That familiar adage, “If it’s not good, God’s not done,” certainly applies to the folky anthem crafted by the duo’s Caleb Crino and John Secker, alongside skilled songwriters Jeff Pardo and Zach Kale. The duo calls the song “a reminder that even when it feels like the end, God’s just getting started.” A little pop, a lot Americana, the boot-stomping singalong affirms life is a journey, not a destination. God is always at work, refining His children and orchestrating the plans He has for our good and His ultimate glory.

As believers, our trust is in a sovereign God, not in our circumstances; and the song’s infectious chorus underscores this tenet of faith:

He’s not done with me, not done with you
No matter what we’re going through
Our hope is in an empty tomb
And the God that’s still not in it

His grace is paving broken roads
He loves us more than we can know
’Til He comes back or we go home
I’m not, you’re not, He’s not finished

The upbeat, hope-filled “Finished” follows Caleb & John’s inaugural No. 1, “Somebody Like Me (feat. CAIN)” and their debut radio single, “Hallelujah Feeling.” The two close friends have spent the fall on the road with CAIN via the sibling trio’s “Live and In Color Tour,” with a multi-artist lineup that also featured worship leader Jon Reddick and author and podcast host Annie F. Downs.

This summer, the rising act made their Red Rocks debut as part of the roster for “K-LOVE Live at Red Rocks.” At the top of 2026, they’ll play Universal Orlando Resort’s “Rock the Universe” for the first time.
