Lexy Smith speaks Darci Jewitt of Family Promise of Gray’s Harbor in Aberdeen, serving all of Gray’s Harbor and Pacific County. Jewitt shares the uniqueness of the family shelter and how they are the only ones in the area to support a family with children where many must choose between men’s and women’s shelters with limits. Jewitt describes why many don’t realize how many homeless families there are. Dewitt details the programs they offer during and after being housed at Family Promise.
