Jeanice Lee talks with Susan Frett, Programs Director of Pacific Whale Foundation. They provide research, education, conversation and outreach programs to the community to protect the ocean and marine life. Frett describes their keiki programs and she shares about the major threats that affect whales and dolphins such as climate change, plastic pollution, vessel collisions, and tourism. She shares about their Marine Debris program which provides people a way to report large nets out to sea or washed upon the shore by calling 833.4DA NETS. Beach clean-up volunteers are needed.
